Insulated panels with polyurethane (PIR) core - excellent thermal insulation
If keeping a building at a constant low temperature is a priority, sandwich panels with a polyurethane (PIR) core are the best choice. The PIR rigid foam core has some of the best insulating properties on the market. What does this mean in practice? Lower heating bills in winter and cooling bills in summer.
PIR boards They are also lightweight, making them easy to transport and install, and they do not put undue strain on the building structure. It is the ideal solution for logistics centres, cold stores, refrigerated warehouses, as well as production halls in the food industry, where temperature control is crucial.
Composite panels with mineral wool - superior fire resistance
There are places where safety is an absolute priority. In buildings with a higher fire risk or where regulations require the highest class of fire resistance, sandwich panels with mineral wool (Izowall MWF) are best suited.
The mineral wool core is flame-retardant, which makes such panels an excellent barrier to fire. But that's not all. Mineral wool also has excellent acoustic properties - it dampens noise from outside and inside the building well. This is why it is often chosen for production halls or logistics centres located close to busy motorways. So if you are looking for uncompromising safety, sandwich panels with a mineral wool core are the way to go.
