Sandwich panel pavilions
A sandwich panel pavilion is a portable building with walls, ceiling and floor made of sandwich panels. It is usually built on a steel frame. Cranes or forklifts are used to move these types of structures.
By purpose, pavilions can be divided into:
-shopping pavilions
- office pavilions
-catering pavilions
-industrial pavilions
-social pavilions
-fairies
- others
This solution is ideal for a variety of commercial or service-related areas. It is then possible to build a portable building with a small footprint in a cheap and fast way, with great aesthetics and functionality.
Sandwich panel pavilions can also often be seen on construction sites. They serve many functions - among others as a construction office, a social pavilion for construction workers, a storage area for sensitive or more valuable equipment, and finally as a watchtower deployed on the construction site.
A frequently used function of a sandwich panel pavilion is as a residential building. Such a solution is used, for example, in refugee camps, as temporary housing for the population after natural disasters or as a temporary facility during the general renovation or conversion of a residential building.
Sandwich panel pavilions are also a common solution used by owners of seasonal garstronomy outlets that are used intensively for several months of the year. They need to be aesthetically pleasing, but also allow them to be moved between the storage point and the point where they will earn their keep.
The pavilions can be combined into larger areas, resulting in a so-called container set. The sandwich panel pavilions then have a special modular construction with the same dimensions and special fittings, which allows the containers to be combined in several planes.
Sandwich panels made of a core and cladding in the form of a suitable steel sheet are used to enclose the containers. The filling consists of polystyrene, mineral wool and polyurethane foam. The use of panels does not require additional insulation, which allows optimum use of the facility's space.
It is possible to finish pavilions with high-quality materials using drywall, plasterboard partition walls, suspended ceilings - plasterboard, mesh and steel, ceramic and gres tiles. The advantage of using sandwich panels in this type of solution is that in the event of damage to the external cladding, a required change in the functionality of the pavilion or the need to change the installations inside the pavilion - it is possible to replace the walls and adapt the pavilion to new needs relatively quickly and cheaply.
